As we were on the ship back to Ellinia, we encountered Crimson Balrog's ship. To our relief, it looked abandoned.
We just stayed outside watching it the whole time while enjoying the fresh breeze.
Once we arrived in Victoria, CrescentBoy and I went straight to New Leaf City, and that's where I met O-Pongo. He gives out presents to kids just like Maple Claws does, except he's a guy and he's a rat. (Yes, Maple Claws is a female cat.) He came all the way from Versalmas. Well, this year, we get to choose to either celebrate Maplemas or Versalmas. They're just celebrations from different worlds. I did get to learn how Versalmas came to be. O-Pongo told me the whole story.
CrescentBoy and I chose to celebrate Maplemas this year, so we got our Maplemas hats from Maple Claws in Happyville.
almindreda told me that all the slimes and ribbon pigs are wearing cute little Maplemas hats, and that's what I mainly came to see. It's true! They all look so cute!
I just love the slimes! Now I wish I had a Maplemas slime as a pet!
Look at all of us, dressed up for the season celebrations! After turning in one hundred presents to Maple Claws, she rewarded us with a pretty Maplemas tree. I love it! This wasn't so hard to get because I saved all the presents I found last year.
But of course, one tree isn't enough for all of us, so we helped almindreda get her tree.
We wanted a tree for CrescentBoy too, so we got to work to find more presents. We searched through the Land of Wild Boar, looking for red/white presents. Even my sister, DekkJon, helped us out.
Makes me think back about the days when I used to train at boars.
Late at night, I dove into the caves in the Dungeon. That's where I ran into Jr. Balrog! What a surprise! What's he doing here with the Evil Eyes? Well, apparently, he wasn't the real Jr. Balrog, otherwise he really would've mangled me up in battle.
Why is his face glowing? Is he wearing glittery face powder?
Boy, he really does know magic.
I love adventures like these!
I showed him my exploding arrow bomb!
After defeating several Jr. Balrogs, he left me lots of yummy cake! MmmmMMMmm.
He can't hurt me! Nope!

The whole reason I went into the Dungeon was to look for more presents. I was hoping Cold Eyes would have them, but nope... Not one to be found.
Took the opportunity to have a little fun with Tauromacis while I was there. :)
